Get Your Toes Tappin' With Smoky Mountain Music

It’s only natural. When you think of the Smoky Mountains, your mind also immediately wanders to log cabins, country music and other things symbolic of mountain life. That’s why vacation planning to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge or other towns in the Smokies simply must include visits to some of the fabulous musical shows only available here.

Smoky Mountain Jubilee

Billed as “good, clean family entertainment,” the Smoky Mountain Jubilee offers singing, dancing and comedy for the entire family. At the hands of the Jubilee Quartet, you’ll experience some of the tightest harmonies you have ever heard. The Smoky Mountain Jubilee Cloggers pound out their routines to hand-clappin’ tunes. And, of course, there’s side-splitting comedy (family friendly!) that will have you laughing until your sides hurt. Don’t miss it!

Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede

According to the website, “It’s more than a show… It’s an adventure!” Step on in and sit right down for a meal guaranteed to make your mouth water. While you enjoy your four-course meal, you’ll be entertained with an actual stampede of wild buffalo, stunt riders on horseback, dozens of cast members and audience participation.

From country and patriotic musical numbers to dancing and even ostrich races, Dolly guarantees, “You’ve never had dinner like this before!”

Black Bear Jamboree

Ever tried to entertain a grumpy group of black bears? That’s the challenge at the Black Bear Jamboree. A whole cast of highly talented singers and dancers do everything imaginable to make these grouchy giants smile. Will it be the tunes from famous Hollywood movies that do it? How about some psychedelic ’70s songs? Maybe it’ll be the down-home country singing that finally gets these bears up on their feet. You’ll just have to come and see for yourself. This show is no longer running in the Smoky Mountains.

Country Tonite Theater

The stars really do come out at Country Tonite Theater! This is your front-row connection to performances from legends including Loretta Lynn, George Jones and Mickey Gilley. This 1,500-seat theater is also home to dozens of other singers and dancers who light up the stage night after night. Country Tonite Theater is a must-see when visiting the Smokies.

The Miracle Theater

From trumpeting angels overhead announcing the birth of Christ to His Ascension after the Crucifixion, The Miracle Theater gives you a firsthand look into the life of Jesus. Start with the dawn of Creation; see our Lord’s life unfold before your eyes and then gasp at His treatment on the Cross. Through music and drama, you’ll draw closer to the Creator of the Universe and His only Son who was sacrificed for our sins.

Music is an international language. Regardless of where you come from or how long you stay, your trip to the Smoky Mountains simply won’t be complete without paying a visit to some of these outstanding shows. Start planning your trip today!
